Edenred USA, the premier provider of national commuter benefit programs, Commuter Check and WiredCommute celebrates Earth Day 2011 by donating to the Rose F. Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and releasing the 2011 version of the annual Save Green Impact Report.
The Conservancy maintains and operates programs to allow for green spaces in the Boston area. With five district parks making up the Greenway, it is one of the few urban parks nationwide that uses sustainable landscape management practices. As the CEO of Edenred USA, Gerard Bridi, states, “this year we decided to support a local cause, Rose F. Greenway Conservancy, which aligns with our philosophy and mission to preserve the environment and encourage a greener community for all to enjoy.”
The release of the Save Green report which can be found online at www.ourgreencommute.com, consists of four years of raw data that Edenred compiled to analyze the impact that commuter benefits has on a company’s carbon footprint and its bottom line.
